  Why This Site

This site was created to speed information flow to USAID contractors and grantees living in Egypt. It serves as a tool to assist you in getting critical information from USAID/Egypt.

This site is managed by USAID/Egypt''s Contractor Support Team. We will place new information here as it becomes available. We welcome your comments and suggestions as to how to improve this site.

 What We Do For You

We provide guidance and advice to the contractor, in accordance with the provisions of the contract, in arranging a limited number of administrative support services. To accomplish this we:
• Conduct Semi-Annual Meetings to advise contractors and grantees of new information
• Maintain an Emergency Locator of all USAID contractors and grantees in Egypt
• Send email / hard-copy Contractor Notices announcing news, policy changes, and other information
• Send email miscellaneous announcements and invitations to contractors and grantees in Egypt
• Send email / hard copy Warden Messages relaying emergency, threat advisories and other security information
• Maintain and activate the Warden Network phone tree to communicate emergency information
• Electronically publish and update the Contractor Handbook
• Coordinate with ministries on the provision of tax, customs and duty free exemptions
• Prepare letters authorizing allowances and privileges under the USAID Bilateral
• Maintain a registry of Privately Owned Vehicles (POVs)
Authorize the sale and disposition of POVs
